Diasy is out of goats from our herd, but as her dam was sold bred, Daisy was born on a different farm! When we unexpectedly lost Daisy's full sister, I contacted Daisy's owners and asked her to let me know if Daisy or her sister ever became available, and last fall she did! We brought Daisy home in 2022 and she has been a good addition to our herd. Her first freshening udder this year is nice looking and her teats are a decent length for a first freshener. She did not produce as much as I expected her to do on her first 12 hr. fill, only giving 1.53 lbs of milk. She is early in her lactation though and has time to catch up. Her udder does have a nice and soft texture to it.
