Mayflower is the last doe out of Winchester that he produced for us.  We had also wanted to keep a doeling at out Mimsy, and were very pleased when this beautiful girl was born!  Her dam, Mimsy, was not our highest producing doe, but she had a nice steady and longer lactation.  We have been very pleased with Mayflower's conformation and her udder.  Her udder has a very nice shape and she milks quite well.  Her teats are a little more bulbous than we would like to see and her kids sometimes have a hard time learning to nurse.  On a 12 hr. fill as a second freshener she produced 4 lbs of milk.  

If you are looking to purchase her, Mayflower has a lump on the underside of her jaw that she has has since last spring.  She sustained an injury or a tooth abscess (we are unsure what exactly, but it happened suddenly), and now has a calcified lump there.  An infection did work its way out last year.  I had my vet look at her, and she said that it may just stay as it is, or if there is any infection left in the bone, it may work its way out again.  It could affect her in the future and make her not live as long, or it could just remain as it is.  Her price reflects the unknown of the situation.
