Shasta is an exciting keeper doe for me.  Her dam was nice, but personality wise, we did not get along.  Shasta is much nicer to handle than her dam and is nice and gentle.  I also love her coloring and breed character!  I am very happy with her FF udder.  It has decent height, good lateral attachments, fairly well placed teats that are a perfect size for hand milking.  Her udder is also super soft and milks out to nothing.  I would like to see more extension in her fore udder, although hers isn't bad.  I have only done an 11 hr fill on her, and she gave me 1.8 lbs, which I think is decent for a FF with only a single doeling.  I am excited to see what she will do in the future!
