Clover is back home! Clover was born here, but sold as a kid. I had planned on retaining Jazmine's last daughter who was supposed to be born the following year, but unfortunately, that kid did not make it, which meant that Clover was Jazmine's last daughter. I had kept in touch with Clover's new owner and let her know that if she ever decided to sell Clover, I would want her back. Well, in the fall of 2023, Clover came back home! Her dam, Jazmine, was one of our original girls and had the highest production we have ever had here, plus she has a very sweet disposition. Her sire's kids are producing really well so far and I am pretty positive that he will earn his +B award next year (just needs 1 more daughter to earn her star, and 4 will be on test). I saw Clover's FF udder, but it is her udder at the end of her lactation so it is harder to tell what all is going on. From what I can see, she has good lateral attachments and very good shape to her udder. Her teats are quite long, maybe a little too long. I have milked her a little bit, and she is easy to milk.
