Clover is back home! Clover was born here, but sold as a kid. I had planned on retaining Jazmine's last daughter who was supposed to be born the following year, but unfortunately, that kid did not make it, which meant that Clover was Jazmine's last daughter. I had kept in touch with Clover's new owner and let her know that if she ever decided to sell Clover, I would want her back. Well, in the fall of 2023, Clover came back home! Her dam, Jazmine, was one of our original girls and had the highest production we have ever had here, plus she has a very sweet disposition. Her sire's kids are producing really well so far and I am pretty positive that he will earn his +B award next year (just needs 1 more daughter to earn her star, and 4 will be on test). Clover's udder is a really nice shape and she has a beautiful fore udder. Her lateral attachments are good, although they could be a little better. I would like to see more height to her udder. On Clover's 1st 12 hr fill as a second freshener she gave me 4.12 lbs of milk!
